Gruić (spr. gruitsch), Sava, serb. Staatsmann, geb. 1840 in Kolare, 1876 im Türkenkriege Befehlshaber der Artillerie, 1877-78 Kriegsminister, dann diplomat. Agent in Bulgarien, 1887 Kriegsminister, 1890-91 und 1893-94 Ministerpräsident, Führer der Radikalen, 1896-99 Gesandter in Petersburg, 1900-3 in Konstantinopel, Okt. 1903 bis Dez. 1904 wieder Ministerpräsident.
